Vishal Jain

Vishal Jain is the founder and CEO of Vishal & Vishal Consultants, and one of India's youngest visually impaired stock market traders. He built his understanding of markets the hard way — by trading through them — and now spends much of his time helping other people, sighted or not, make sense of their own finances.

Vishal lost his sight early in life, but it never became a reason to sit out of a field built almost entirely on watching charts and screens. He learned to read the market by ear and by touch instead — through screen-reader software, spoken price feeds, and a great deal of patience — and has been trading for three years. That same insistence on accessible tools is why every calculator on this site is built to work as well with a screen reader as it does with a mouse.

Alongside trading, Vishal is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Analytics, pairing his hands-on market experience with a formal grounding in data and business decision-making.

In 2024, Vishal was honoured with the Young Jaina Award (YJA) for securing the highest marks in the Intermediate (Class XII) Commerce stream — recognition that came before the markets, and that he credits with giving him the discipline to keep learning in public.

Today, as founder and CEO of Vishal & Vishal Consultants, he works to close the gap between complicated financial products and the people who have to use them — building calculators, explanations and guidance meant for absolutely everyone, regardless of how they access the web.
